BCPL Wins ₹4.51 Crore Bid to Modernize Howrah’s Railway Grid

BCPL Railway Infrastructure Limited is set to undertake a major reliability upgrade for the Howrah Division’s OHE network after emerging as the L1 bidder for a ₹4.51 crore contract. The project is designed to minimize transient tripping incidents and bolster infrastructure safety along high-density corridors. Key technical interventions include anti-climbing measures, bird-mitigation hardware for insulators, debris protection using HDPE mesh, and voltage stabilization through G-Jumper installations. The formal execution timeline will be established upon receipt of the Letter of Acceptance.
